Vicinity is a Rogers-owned small business loyalty program that gives merchants a simple way to reward their customers for shopping local. Vicinity launched in 2013, and they brought 88 Creative on board in early 2014 to help create online awareness among both small business owners and consumers. We wanted to use Vicinity’s online channels to educate merchants about the various Vicinity platform features, educate existing and potential cardholders about the program and the businesses in the Vicinity network across Canada, and generate leads for the sales team.

We now manage their Twitter and Facebook channels, and have expanded their social ads strategy on both platforms. We designed and launched the Vicinity blog, and send out monthly newsletters to both merchants and cardholders. We also help with Vicinity’s design assets like case studies and print materials, and help support larger Vicinity initiatives like their Vicinity Day events.
